Here are a collection of food illustrations I made in October 2021. The Rilakkuma ice cream cone in particular is a favourite of mine just because of how cute it is!! I really do like the Sourdough Bread as well though, I haven’t drawn anything savoury in quite a while so looking at this makes me want to try drawing more savoury food items.

It’s been a long time since I last shared my work here and in that time a lot has changed, I’m now primarily working in full colour and I’m painting lots of cute desserts!
There is a lot of work that I need to post here to catch up but I think this piece is a great one to start with since it became a great foundation for me to build upon, and you’ll be able to see how I still use elements of this art style in my current work.
Sweet Iris Tattoo Design
Back in March I got back into drawing botanical tattoo designs! This was the first one that got me back into practicing and offering similar designs for commissions, and already I’ve learnt so much in just these last few months.
I’m now more aware of how much detail can translate from illustration to skin so I’m able to design pieces that will work better. I’m still seeking a tattoo apprenticeship and there’s still so much I need to learn, but I really enjoy creating these!
